  1. Minutes of the last meetings
    1. The minutes for the last Parish Council Meeting on 18th February 2016 were agreed and signed as a true record of this meeting.
  2. Matters arising from the last minutes
    1. Planning:
      • 17 Castor Road – issue raised by Conservation Officer that the type of windows put forward for approval isn’t in line with the planning approval
      • Rectory House – Fell Cyprus tree approved
      • Rectory House – Erect Stone wall at front of the property approved
      • Rectory House – Prune Yew tree and fell Holly tree planning application submitted
    2. Village communication list – the electoral roll list has been checked and the view is we have the majority of the Resident email addresses now. Residents will be asked to update their details again at the Annual Village Meeting. Copy of village distribution list to be circulated to MPC for information.
    3. Land Dyke Trust to be invited to the next normal Parish Council Meeting, which is 9th July 2016.
    4. Defibrillation Awareness Training – this will take place on 21st May 2016 at 10.30am in the Village Hall. This needs to be promoted to get as many people as possible to attend. The maximum number to attend is 50 people. Details to be emailed around the village along with the poster – Gillian Haythornthwaite
  3. MPC Finances
    1. Cheque for £69.60 paid to Gillian Haythornthwaite for the contract to host the village website with Vidahost – this is for 3 years. This is a budgeted cost.
    2. The transfer of the ownership of the website to the Parish Council will take place shortly.
  4. Annual Village Meeting – 14th April 2016
    1. Agenda:
      • Chair’s Annual Report
      • Castor Development – explain what is being proposed and give residents an opportunity to raise concerns, issues, questions etc
      • Open Forum
      • Promotion:
      • We want as many residents as possible to attend
      • Flyer to be produced to circulate to residents – Tim Hawkins
      • Promote on the website, email round the village, facebook page, door to door
  5. Rights of Way Improvements
    1. We reviewed the definitive pathways document produced by the PCC. In general there were no major issue from a Marholm perspective.
    2. A query was raised about the footpath through Belsize Farm. This will be raised with Trevor Jarvis to establish if this is an issue – Tim Hawkins
  6. AOB
    1. Date of the Annual Village Meeting is Thursday 14th April 2016 at 7pm in the Village Hall
